This Privacy Policy explains how ModaMike (modamike.com) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you browse our store, place an order, contact support, or take part in our affiliate program. Payment information

Payments are handled by trusted third-party processors. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are processed through a third-party checkout partner, and Bitcoin payments are handled through our self-hosted, non-custodial BTCPay Server. Because of this:

  • ModaMike does not store full card numbers or card security details.
  • ModaMike does not hold or control your cryptocurrency private keys.

We receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded and the information needed to match a payment to your order, but the sensitive payment credentials themselves stay with the processors.

Affiliate program information

If you join our affiliate program, we collect the information needed to track your referrals and pay your commissions. Affiliate payouts are made in cryptocurrency only, so affiliates additionally provide a crypto wallet address for receiving payments. We do not request or store bank account details for affiliate payouts.

Cookies and technical information

We use a small number of cookies to make the store work and to support our affiliate program:

  • Shopping cart cookies — used to remember the items in your cart as you move through the site and to complete checkout.
  • Affiliate referral tracking — when you arrive through an affiliate link, a referral cookie lasting approximately 30 days records the referral so that any resulting order can be correctly attributed to the affiliate who sent you.

Most browsers let you control or delete cookies through their settings. If you block cart cookies, parts of the store may not function correctly.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to run the store and complete your order, and only with parties that need it for that purpose. This includes:

  • Shipping providers — we share the name and address details needed to deliver your order, using discreet, non-contact packaging.
  • Payment processors — our third-party card checkout partner and our self-hosted, non-custodial BTCPay Server process payments and receive the information they need to do so.
  • Affiliate payouts — where you are an affiliate, the crypto wallet address you provide is used to send your commission payments over the relevant cryptocurrency network.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our customers, or the security of the service.

Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, support your orders, honour our money-back and reship guarantee, attribute and pay affiliate commissions, prevent fraud, and meet any obligations that apply to us. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take steps to delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, subject to the limits described below.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date — for example, an incorrect shipping address.
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it for an active order, a guarantee claim, affiliate payouts, fraud prevention, or other legitimate or legal reasons.

To make any of these requests, contact us through our support desk (see below). We may need to confirm your identity — usually by reference to your order details and the email used at checkout — before acting on a request, to protect your account from unauthorised changes.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Sensitive payment data is handled by specialised third-party processors rather than stored by us: we do not retain full card numbers or hold cryptocurrency private keys. We restrict access to the information we do hold to what is needed to operate the store and serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data protected and to limit what we collect to what is genuinely necessary.

Tracking your order

You can check the status of a purchase at any time on our order tracking page using your Order ID together with the billing email address you used at checkout. We recommend keeping these details safe, as they are used to look up your order.
